BUSY, BUSY, BUSY
year's R.I.P. award
going to the F.D.A.
We're baaaaack! We've been very busy around Tabby Abbey since the last post! Can't believe the whole month of October has just flown by! One major project has been completed and that was getting the breakfast room patched, painted and back in use! YIPPY! And, it looks so nice now with the fresh coats of paint. In fact, this paint, Behr, is so good, I still haven't gotten all of it out of my hair! I was determined to have this room finished before the end of the month and so it was. And then the Halloween decorations were put up and now we can go on to the Thanksgiving decorations!
Elmo has been having a bout with a tummy problem and seems to be better (cross your fingers, and whatever other body parts you think might help!). And I'm working on getting all the cats in before the end of the year for their shots/checkups. Timmy will be the fun one to catch, he's my "reverted to being feral" cat!
This year's R.I.P. award went to the F.D.A. for their brillant approval of drugs that killed people. The R.I.P. award is something we came up with several years ago to point out people and groups that we give a big thumbs down to every year at Halloween. And Mr. Youst (our happy ghost) is proud to point out the award in front of our house!
