HAPPY HOLIDAYS---by MOMCAT
Here's Ms. Kitty, the decoration
for the top of the jelly cabinet
in the breakfast room.
We're getting ready for the holidays at Tabby Abbey. We've put up some decorations inside and out. However, the tree we put up outside the breakfast room has broken in half due to the heavy snow and ice we've had! Oh well, it did look nice right after it was put up.
On another note, the breakfast room inside looks quite festive and we are moving on planning our Christmas Day Dinner menu. A baked ham and some vegetable dishes are planned along with those yummy biscuits from Red Lobster. And for dessert, well, I haven't quite decided yet, but I think it may be that Eggnog Pie that I've made before. We'll see. Elmo thinks that's a good idea too!
Speaking of little Elmo, he had a bout of a tummy thing and then Digger has had a tooth problem and this time an abscess as well. He's doing very well now thanks to Dr Ron and the ladies there at the Animal Clinic. He has to go back in a week for another shot and I have some meds to give him once a day. He takes the meds like they were a real treat which is a very good thing indeed.
As for me, I'm back with the temp agency and looking for something close to home. Hopefully the next year will be a better one.
