ON TO THE HOLIDAYS--By Elmo

Now that turkey day is over, I want to take this opportunity to say to everyone:

SLOW DOWN!

Everyone is in such a hurry, flurry, rushing this way and that, shopping, shopping, shopping! People get so wound up about gift giving instead of making this the time of the year to be shared with family and friends. Think about that.

Maybe instead of gifts, what about some special certificates for chores, or driving someone somewhere, reading to someone, or helping them with some task they want to do but need help to accomplish.

Hmmmm..... what do I know, I'm only the 19lb dog in the room.
